All images must be original to you or licensed to you.  Make sure to include a thumbnail image and images in your lessons.

Price & Course Info

All courses must have an assigned difficulty level, category and price.  You can choose to make your course free or assign your desired price to sell.

Topics & Lessons

All courses should include at least 3 topics with at least 3 lessons in each topic.  Make the lessons easy to understand and follow while the student it with their horse.

Intro Teaser Video

We recommend an intro teaser video for all courses.  This video is available to the student prior to purchase to tell them what the course is about and the value they get out of the course.

Video Content

We recommend at least 5 minutes of video content in each of your lessons of your course.  Upload the videos to your YouTube or Vimeo account, and then add video links in your lessons of your course.

Quizzes (Optional)

Additional teaching tools like quizzes can be added to create a rich learning experience for students.  These quizzes are optional but highly recommended.

MAKE THE BEST COURSES

6 TIPS TO MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR COURSES

FOCUS ON IN-DEMAND SKILLS

Think about what skills have been most valuable for you to learn, ones your horse friends have asked about, and what you are most comfortable teaching.  This is what you should focus on for your course.

SCRIPT YOUR COURSE

Plan your course ahead of time.  Write out the steps, create a script, record your video, and create a teaser video.  Once you’ve got this completed, create your course and submit it for review.

GIVE AWAY YOUR KNOWLEDGE

Be generous with your knowledge.  You are the expert in what you are teaching and the most valuable courses provide insights gained through experience.  Pack your course full of your knowledge and experience, and more people will buy your course!

INVEST IN GOOD EQUIPMENT

A good camera phone or video camera will work wonders in capturing your video.  Invest in a good tripod or good friend to get close to the action so people can both see and hear you clearly.

EASY TO UNDERSTAND

Make sure your course is easy to follow, easy to understand, and in bite-size lessons.  Think about the student on the other side of your course with their phone and their horse walking through your course step by step.  Set them up for success and they will come back for more!

SPREAD THE WORD

Once you’ve created your course, share, share share!  The more you spread the word, the more people will buy your course.  Encourage people to rate and provide a review of your course.  A high rating and review of your course will help show the value of what you are teaching.
